Perfectly placed new moon in Capricorn, two days before New Year’s Eve = write your New Year’s Resolutions now. Get ahead of yourself, alla Capricorn.

There will be a new moon in the UK at 6.53am so unless you fancy getting up really early, I would get these written down today!

Working with the cycles of the moon to manifest what you want is really powerful. There is something symbolic about planting seeds of ideas at the dark of the moon and then giving them your time and intention as they grow and “come to light.”

As the Moon meets the Sun tomorrow, Saturn (the boss ruler of Capricorn) will be bang on the ascendent, just about to rise. This could not be a more appropriate day for making plans and to take control of your life. I describe the atmosphere as focussed, articulate, and ripe for putting dreams into action.

Mars is conjunct the South Node and Neptune, i.e. we already know how to dream and connect with our higher self. It’s actually easier than we think. We’ve always known what we here came here to do, we just forget and are distracted by life. There is a danger that we get lost in our dreams at this point. The goal is to take what we know and organise ourselves, get practical and start building!

Saturn, Mercury, Sun, Moon and Pluto are all in the First House… get it done, get it done, get it done.

Saturn is square to Chrion, OUCHY. I suppose that could have something to do with the pain of this year, of our our past. There is so much to be gained from moving on from our mistakes. They NEVER said it would be easy, they did say it would be worth it.

Generally, this new moon is about work, focus and what you can ACHIEVE. Not all over us are here to achieve great careers, some of us are here to raise children, others to be of service to others. Whatever you want to achieve, this is the time to focus on it and set yourself some clear guidelines for how you are going to get there.

With Mercury still Retrograde in the solitary and focussed sign of Capricorn, plans are the order of the day. Really thorough plans that have meaning. Head down, crack on. Jupiter is on the MC as the Moon meets the Sun. Excellent for our careers and personas. There is so much good stuff to come, if you persevere and push your boundaries.

How to manifest with the boss moon.

1. Write down what you would like to achieve.

The most obvious and simple way to set goals! Write them down. Always, always ALWAYS use positive language. Say what you want to see, not what you don’t want to see.

For example “I will have a healthier diet so that I can enjoy having more energy.” As opposed to “Don’t be a fat pig.”

Give yourself a realistic timeline of when you want to achieve said goals.

2. I know when I started this blog I didn’t want to become a hippie… TOO LATE.

CRYSTALS. Or as my sister calls them, rocks. If you are at least vaguely aquatinted with their energetic properties, place your crystal on top of your list and focus on your intention. Lighting a few candles really amps up the process. Put your list in a pink or gold envelope, seal it and leave it somewhere you will see it. That will keep your attention focussed on these ideas without having to keep referring to the list. Capricorn is an earth sign and is connected to gem stones, so this is the time to use them!

3. Listen to your goals and dreams.

Not the dreams of your partner, parent or friend. YOUR dreams. Your focus!

Explore new ideas, push boundaries. Set yourself higher and hard to reach goals.

This evening, make the plans!

Tune in to how you want things to be next year. Dream big. Imagine this time next year. Imagine how you will feel this time next year when you have managed to create all that you want to. Soaking up that feeling and playing with those ideas is one of the best ways for you to ensure that you will work on your goals.
